A renowned brand of chocolate novelty goods has successfully updates its enterprising solution, it has been revealed.
British confectioner Kinnerton states that up scaling to latest version of QAD Enterprise Applications took only three months and will inevitably provide improved user efficiency in the long term.
The firm is also looking to reduce its operational supply chain costs through the upgrade, both in the UK and overseas.
Matthew Davies, head of IT and commercial supply chain at the chocolate manufacturer, commented: "We have worked with QAD for many years and its solutions continue to serve our business needs.
"We're pleased that QAD Global Services was able to work in partnership with us to rapidly upgrade our system and implement QAD Enterprise Applications 2008."
British businesses have increasingly turned to enterprise technology to manage their distribution networks, which has in turn seen a rise in demand for professionals trained for supply chain jobs.
