Fast-food deal could increase procurement jobs
A British third party supplier has procured a major contract with the fast food provider Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
Under the terms of the deal, Leasedrive Velo Group will provide 60 contract hire and 90 cash-for-car drivers to the fast food chain.
A representative from the fried chicken group stated that it choose Leasedrive due to its tailored solutions and the professionalism it demonstrated during the competitive tendering process.
Commercial director at Leasedrive Velo Group, Roddy Graham, commented: "This is another great win for us following a detailed competitive tender with a major client focus on duty of care.
"KFC had been reviewing its company car policy and as a result of the partnership, hopes to encourage more of its cash-for-car drivers back into contract hire vehicles."
As the world's most popular chicken restaurant chain, KFC takes on huge numbers of new employees every year, with many of those recruited to perform procurement jobs.
