Sourcing Manager - Consumer and Commercial Data

The Role

Our client is a leading Global Financial Services organisation, with an excellent opportunity for a talented Sourcing Manager. You will be tasked with delivering change within a relatively Greenfield and niche area of Indirect Spend.

You will be responsible for:

• setting the sub-category strategy which will leverage Global Scale.
• Work within and develop highly governed models across the whole sourcing and supplier management process, where compliance is critical.
• understand and demonstrate innovation, quality and risk mitigation.
• Benchmark and conduct supply market research, analysis and evaluation, developing a global supply base to support the business through future growth.
• Ensure all contracts reflect complete cost clarity and transparency.
• Work collaboratively with suppliers to adapt or develop internal processes.
• Continuously develop stakeholder relationships.
• Support internal and lead external implementation of lean manufacturing and six sigma principles across the supply chain and value stream.

Candidate Requirements

You will have experience of working within an international corporate services industry. The successful candidate must be able to:

• demonstrate experience of challenging negotiations within a field of spend where there is little supplier competition, able to renegotiate complex contracts and supplier agreements.
• deeply engage with key suppliers and innovatively drive business process change

Desirable – knowledge of regulatory and risk management requirements.
