The Role:
Based at the company’s offices in either Middlesex or Manchester, the Senior Commissioning Manager will lead a small team of commissioning specialists who are charged with the delivery of provider relationship and strategic sourcing projects, ensuring that the procurement of medical services for members is both cost effective and of high quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Experienced procurement professional with evidence of delivery within large, complex businesses
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team through challenging procurement programmes
- Appropriate experience of working in a commercial role in the Health sector, or the ability to quickly understand its characteristcs/drivers and maintain such learning on an ongoing basis
- Proven experience of delivering step change in supplier performance for customers while managing a range of activities across a team
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Degree-qualified or equivalent
