Senior Contract Manager - IT Applications Outsourcing
The Role
Our client is a leading global financial services organisation with an excellent opportunity for a Senior Contract Manager to lead 3 large outsourced global contracts in the IT applications space of significant value and strategic importance to the organisation.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in contract management of large scale system initiatives / outsourcing partnerships, including specific experience managing offshore vendors.
- Exposure to development, negotiation and ongoing contract management of significant (+$50m) multi year contract structures.
- Experience building and leading contract management teams
- Experience of developing and operating complex supplier contracts
- Experience of negotiating and operating SLA / KPI driven commercial contracts / relationships at global level assessing and quantifying the commercial impact of delivery issues.
- Evidence of partnership development within commercial context resulting in enhanced commercial responsiveness
- Unimpeachable integrity and ethics both within and outside the organisation
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats.
- Leadership skills - ability to influence, develop and coach team members.
- Experience of Facilitating formal commercial reviews which cover the commercial impact of service changes, variances to budget outside agreed thresholds, progress against benefit realisation plans, and agreements on risk reward payments.
Desirable Criteria:
- Relevant and current personal network of suppliers and client communities within the FS industry spanning IT, BPO & Infrastructure
