The Role
Our client is currently seeking an experienced procurement professional (IT Services) to join their commercial and procurement team based in London.
The Role
The Commercial Relationship Manager will join at a very exciting time and will contribute to the overall success of the business by providing a comprehensive procurement and commercial service and adding value and expertise to our procurement projects.
Key Accountabilities
You will provide support to the implementation of procurement and commercial strategies in accordance with current best practise, ensuring company policies are implemented and adhered to; and providing advice, support and guidance to other departments on the commercial aspects of specifications, supplier analysis and selection and negotiation of terms and conditions.
You will have the opportunity to participate in (or lead) cross-company projects particularly related to commercial policies and procedures and will be responsible for commercial management of strategic service provider contracts.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate will be proficient in the application of procurement processes within IT Services; proficient in the application of commercial management/supplier relationship management principles and in the application of Prince 2 or an equivalent management methodology. A relevant CIPS qualification or certification as a Prince 2 Practitioner will be well regarded.
